Wont forgive Arooj and her gang’: Khalilur Rehman warns alleged kidnappers

Pakistani writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar has vowed not to forgive Amina Arooj, her associates, or the social media trolls involved in what he claims was his kidnapping.

In a frank interview, he emphasized that those responsible for his “suffering” will face “serious consequences.”

“They attacked me, and I will not forgive them. They must be held accountable with strict punishment,” Qamar stated.

He labeled Arooj and her group as “dangerous,” claiming they were previously sought for multiple murder cases.

Qamar further declared, “Respect is in the hands of God. I will not rest until justice is served. First, I will deal with this group, then the trolls. We are pursuing legal actions, and even the social media trolls will face justice.”

Khalilur Rehman Qamar is a well-known writer in Pakistan, famous for his successful TV dramas and films like Munjali*, *Sadqay Tumhare*, and *Mere Pass Tum Ho*.

Verdict on Yasir Ali’s Bail Rejection

A written ruling was issued denying bail to Yasir Ali, a suspect in the alleged kidnapping of Khalilur Rehman Qamar. The verdict stated that phone records and call details of Yasir Ali matched those of the victim, and Ali was identified in a lineup.

The ruling further mentioned that evidence from the case was found in Ali’s possession, providing enough grounds for rejecting his bail.

The plaintiff’s arguments were represented by advocates Mudassir Chaudhry and Zain Qureshi.

On July 15, 2024, Qamar was reportedly abducted and robbed in Lahore. He reported the incident to the police on July 21 after being released following a ransom payment.

The incident allegedly began when Qamar was invited to Amina Arooj’s home to discuss a drama project. Qamar’s lawyer claims he was kidnapped by armed men during this meeting.

However, Arooj’s lawyer provided a different version, alleging that Qamar’s manager initially contacted Arooj for professional reasons. The situation escalated when Qamar allegedly made inappropriate demands. According to the lawyer, Qamar arrived intoxicated at their second meeting, pressuring Arooj for a physical relationship and threatening to leak photos if she refused.

Hasan Shah, believed to be the mastermind, allegedly kidnapped both Arooj and Qamar. Arooj later accused the police of torturing her into falsely labeling the incident as a honey trap, adding further complexity to the case.

This incident has drawn widespread media attention, with both sides offering conflicting narratives.
