TAMPA, Fla. – Coming off a hard-fought win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 6, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are preparing for a major challenge on “Monday Night Football” when they face the Baltimore Ravens. Despite dealing with injuries and adversity all season, the Bucs (4-2) have shown resilience, a trait emphasized by head coach Todd Bowles.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield has embodied this toughness, shaking off a hard hit in Week 6 and continuing to lead his team. His ability to scramble and make plays under pressure has defined the Bucs’ offense, which thrives on coordinator Liam Coen’s dynamic schemes and Bowles’ aggressive defense.
However, the upcoming game against the Ravens (4-2) presents one of their toughest challenges yet. Baltimore’s offense, led by MVP contender Lamar Jackson, leads the NFL in total yards per game, and Jackson’s dual-threat ability will test the Bucs’ defense.
“We’ve got to be prepared for everything,” said inside linebackers coach Larry Foote. “Lamar is a game-changer, and it’s going to take a full team effort to contain him.”
If the Bucs can secure a victory, they’ll head into a pivotal Week 8 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons with momentum and first place in the NFC South on the line.
