Last pay-per-view event will take place on December 7 in Las Vegas, with tickets going on sale October 18.
In July, Belal Muhammad’s long-awaited journey to the UFC welterweight title reached its pinnacle with a victory over Leon Edwards in Manchester, England.
On December 7, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, he will defend his title for the first time in the UFC 310 main event, facing the undefeated contender Shavkat Rakhmonov.
Rakhmonov, who holds a flawless UFC record with six wins, is determined to unseat Muhammad, who hasn’t lost in over five years.
UFC CEO Dana White confirmed the bout on social media.
Also on the card, Alexandre Pantoja will defend his flyweight title against Japan’s Kai Asakura, who aims to make history by winning a UFC belt in his debut.
UFC 310 will feature the much-anticipated return of Nick Diaz, taking on Vicente Luque, as well as a critical heavyweight showdown between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov.
Other standout matchups include Movsar Evloev versus former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, and a light heavyweight battle between veterans Anthony Smith and Dominick Reyes.
UFC 310: Muhammad vs. Rakhmonov is set for December 17, 2024, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with tickets available starting October 18.
